Christmas Blessings

We were very blessed this Christmas to once again spend it with our families...and spoiled I might add. This Christmas was very exciting, as Luke was really getting into his presents this year. I loved watching him get so excited over his presents and unwrapping them. He managed to unwrap about half of them, and then it was someone else's duty to finish the rest as he was quite intrigued with what he had already opened and needed to play with them.

We spent Christmas Eve with my family in Navasota, and then we headed back to Navasota on Christmas Day for dinner and opening presents with my parents. Christmas evening we spent with Brett's family. All in all it was a very busy couple of days, but very memorable spending it with parents and grandparents. I just love this time of the year when everyone gets together.

Here are some highlights from our special day!

Christmas Eve at Great Grannie's house

Luke would tear off a piece of wrapping paper and bring the trash to us...and run back to Grandpa to tear off more.

He got a box filled with books from his Great Grannie

Christmas Morning....Looks like Santa came to see a good little boy!

WOW...Luke didn't know what to think when he got a BIG Elmo from Aunt Kristy! Elmo is bigger than he is! :)

Too Awesome--Grandpa and Grandma got him his first "motorized" 4-Wheeler

He had a few minor accidents...running into Grandpa's truck and the tree. He is still working on his steering ability!

Next we headed off to Papa and Nana's

Luke needed to open his presents at his-size table. Luke and his cousin are checking out the Elmo phone that he got from his uncle and aunt. (Ohh the trouble these two are going to into in the future!!!) Luke got a big boy slide for outside too! He was very excited to slide down it.

Humm...what's hiding in this present? I think it's Rudolph!

What an amazing and memorable Christmas we shared this year! We are so thankful and blessed that God has touched our lives with so many special people. He has richly blessed us this year, and we look forward to an amazing 2009! Just think...our precious little addition will be with us next Christmas.
